HISTORICAL HOTEL WITH CHARME WITH ARNO VIEW

The charme of this historical hotel makes it definetely a great place to stay. Our room with view to the river Arno was clean, old furniture as much aged as the hotel, good beds, bathroom and shower updated. WLAN access in the room. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast modest but ok. We did need their help finding the narrow car parking, which is located in the back of the hotel, to be reached through very narrow streets: Following the Arno through Lungarno Pacinotti you have take a sharp left turn BEFORE getting to the hotel. Follow slowly the narrow Via Curtatone e Montanara, take a right turn to Via Doemenica Cavalca, in front of the market stand turn right to the Vicolo del Porton Rosso, where the parking is signalized. 

For enthusiasts of historical hotels, ready to make some compromise regarding luxury, it's a a very good choice to stay in Pisa.

Just a few steps away from the hotel a good place to eat is the Osteria Porton Rosso with a new crew, cooking good local meals and giving their best to make you happy.
